Notices

There are strict requirements as to the format and service of section 8 and section 21 notices. It is crucial to get it right but it is not easy. Almost 75 % of notices served that we see are invalid. There have been a number of recent changes and continued challenge in the courts over the validity of notices served, making the task even harder. 

At Woodstock we work closely with a number of agents serving all of their possession notices. This takes away the risk of an invalid notice being served and allows us to resolve any issues with the paperwork at the earliest opportunity leaving agents to do what they do best and successfully manage the property whilst protecting the landlord’s interest. If possession proceedings are required then we can issue proceedings without delay, safe in the knowledge that a fully compliant legally valid notice has been served. 

All notices served are charged at an agreed fixed fee with reduced rates often available. Just send us the paperwork and we will take over.
